Tony Calhoun is a 2009 SS/P with a 6'1'', 175 lb. frame from Temecula, CA who attends Temecula Valley. Calhoun has a bigger frame with an athletic build. His body projects well. Calhoun has big time arm strength with good carry on his throws from the outfield. He makes accurate throws and moves well to the baseball. He has smooth OF actions and has good hands. At the plate, Calhoun starts with a straight stance and a quiet approach. He has plus bat speed and maintains good balance through his swing.
