Huey Touchet Il is a 2017 3B/RHP with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Rayne, LA who attends Rayne HS. Large frame, strong build, clear sign of present strength. From the infield, developing actions and footwork, accurate throws across. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a closed, wide stance. Swing is direct to the baseball, gets extended. Generates some natural lift at the point of contact, some raw power to all fields. On the mound, throws from a 3/4 arm slot, short compact arm slot. Hand set stays tight to body, leg lift to belt, short stride to the plate, hides the ball well. Some natural cut to fastball. 12/6 curveball shape. Excellent student.
