Trevor Costin is a 5'9" 165 pound 2007 third baseman from Lakewood, California who has a strong build and a thick compact body with room for added muscle. He has good footwork and very sure hands that makes him look very smooth in the field. Trevor has an accurate throwing arm and gets rid of the ball very quickly. At the plate, Costin has a compact aggressive swing that is simple and straight to the ball. He is extremely hard to strike out and uses all fields very well. He is an early in the lineup type hitter who will also drive the ball to the gaps. Trevor should put up some offensive numbers and he is a very good student as well with a 3.5 gpa.
