Justin Grandmaison is a 2007 3B/P from Gorham HS in Gorham, ME, with a 5'11'', 170 lb. frame and a good build for future strength gains. He ran the 60 in 7.26 and threw 75 mph during infield drills from a low release point. He hits from a quiet approach with a wide stance and a flexed back knee. Grandmaison has some hand strength and showed the ability to make solid contact up the middle with a short, line drive swing. He also pitched and threw 79 mph from a low 3/4's release point. Grandmaison has a long arm action and gets some run on his fastball. He also threw a 67 mph curveball and a 66 mph change up. He is a good student.
