Cameron Cooper is a 2016 1B/RHP with a 6-1 205 lb. frame from League City, TX who attends Clear Springs HS. Has a long lean frame with clear sign of present strength in build. Posted an 8.32 60 yard dash. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a narrow stance and a quiet setup. Keeps his hands inside the baseball and flashed ability to get extended, opposite field approach. From the infield, has solid hands and and good reactions on the corners. Lower arm slot on throws across the infield with good arm strength and accuracy. Made multiple strong plays at third base although it is not his primary position. From the mound, quick and long arm action with good life on his fastball with occasional run. Athletic player that projects well. Outstanding student. Named to South Uncommitted Top Prospect List.
