Ryan Kasper is a 2017 2B with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Tomball, TX who attends Klein Oak HS. Medium, athletic and lean build with room to fill out. Left handed hitter, wider base with slight crouched setup. Flashes strength in swing, front-side can clear a bit early at times, but shows solid hand-eye coordination and ability to use the barrel. Likes to pull the ball, shows some hand quickness and has a short, efficient swing. Worked out in the infield, projects to be a quality second baseman. Shows good actions in the infield, possesses quick feet and a full arm-action from 3/4 arm slot, accurate throws to bases and up to 79 mph in defensive drills. Very good student.
