Ben McKay is a 2017 SS with a 5-10 165 lb. frame from Wenatchee, WA who attends Wenatchee HS. Medium athletic build, plenty of room to get stronger. 7.18 in the sixty, moves well on defense, very sound fundamental defensive actions, works well through the ball, proper footwork with good balance, fields the ball out front with soft hands and makes accurate throws, has the athleticism and skills to stay in the middle infield. Right handed hitter, upper body rotational swing, has some hand quickness but will need work on his swing path and timing. Defensive ability is his carrying tool. Good student.
