Vincent Bennett is a 2016 LHP/OF/1B with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Bonners Ferry, ID who attends Bonners Ferry HS. Slender young athletic build, high waist, lots of room to get stronger. Long windmill arm action, high 3/4's to over the top arm slot, exaggerates keeping his front side closed as late as possible, worked best from the stretch as he got over his front side more consistently and got the ball down in the zone. Fastball topped out at 71 mph with occasional sink when down. Curveball was his best pitch with good depth and consistency, rare change up but it had good fade, can throw both his off speed pitches more frequently. Left handed hitter, sound hitting mechanics, pull to mid field approach, spread stance with good balance. Outstanding student.
