Logan Gerling is a 2017 RHP with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Gig Harbor, WA who attends Gig Harbor HS. Slender young athletic build, lots of room to get stronger. Big back turn delivery, controls the rotation well with a slow pace and drive to the plate, full very clean arm action, 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 84 mph, more velocity in there, fastball gets occasional running action and throws it to spots, occasional 2-seamer with hard sinking action. Tends to shorten his arm arch on his curveball, gets good spin and biting action with a sweeping shape. Has nice deception and life to his change up, gets out front with it well. Nice young pitching prospect who will continue to improve.
