2004 Northeast Top Prospect Showcase
Estrada is a 2005 RHP/SS from Bridgeport, CT with a strong 6'2"/183 pound frame. He throws from a 3/4 arm slot with good arm action and a balanced delivery. His fastball was 82-86 mph with good armside run and he consistenly worked the outside corner with it. We have seen his fastball consistently 85-87 during the summer. He showed good feel for all his pitches including his good 73 mph CB and his 76 mph change-up. He is an athlete with good actions and range at SS, but we feel his future is on the mound. Brian is a good student.
