Jack Lagner is a 2021 OF/LHP with a 5-8 135 lb. frame from East Northport, NY who attends Commack HS. Recorded a 5.17 second 40-yard dash time. Younger, lean frame with plenty of room to fill out and add strength. Primary outfielder with short, sure steps to the ball. Works through the ball well with a high three-quarters arm slot and throws recorded up to 79 mph. Secondary lefthanded pitcher with a slower tempo and a straight fastball. Can work the lower third of the zone and maintains balance throughout. Also mixed in a curveball in the mid-60s. Lefthanded hitter with a small stride forward, downhill swing plane, high hand set, and a high back elbow. Quickness to hands and works to all fields. Can improve by limiting extraneous moving parts. Good student.
