Jordan Jankowski is a 2008 C/P with a 6'1'', 200 lb. frame from McMurray, PA who attends Peters Township. Jankowski has a strong build and is an excellent two way prospect. As a catcher he makes very accurate throws, with arm strength, and a quick release. It will not be easy to run on him. At the plate he shows excellent power potential and drives the ball to all fields. He has bat speed and the ball is loud off his bat. Jordan also shows big potential on the mound. He works all out of the stretch with an extended 3/4's arm angle. He pitched 90-91, up to 92 with some tail. He changes speeds on his breaking ball and shows feel for pitching. He has signed with Miami (OH)

Plus strong, nice raw power, very aggressive swing, bat speed, looks to pull/lift. Raw arm strength catching, will need to loosen up actions. Also pitching prospect, FB 88 mph, have seen 90, solid curveball/chg combination. 2-way potential. Good student.

Jordan Jankowski is a 6' 198 pound 2008 catcher and right handed pitcher from Peters Township High School in McMurray, Pennsylvania who was named to the Top Prospect Team. He has a thick body with good strength. Jordan has good arm strength which he showed by throwing 77 mph from behind the plate and a 2.08 pop time which showed his quick release. At the plate, he hits with an open stance and has some lift in his swing. He has a short swing that is very quick. He is a pull hitter with big time power potential who hit some home runs during batting practice. Jankowski throws from a 3/4 arm slot and works very quick. He has a high leg kick and uses his lower half very well. He also repeats his delivery very well. He throws his fastball at 87 mph with some natural cut action on it. His curveball is a very good one with tight 12/6 rotation at 75 mph. Jankowski throws both a change up and split finger fastball. His change up has some good sink at 76 mph. His splitty was nasty at 73 mph that was a big time strike out pitch. Jordan has potential at both ends of the battery and is a very good student as well with a 3.6 gpa.
