Tim Kiley is a 2007 1B/RHP/OF from Palm Harbor HS in Palm Harbor, FL with a 6'7", 200 lb. frame. Tim has a great pitchers build and still has soom room to fill out. On the mound Tim throws from a high 3/4 release point with a good downhill plane on his pitches. He could get more out of lower half and simplify his mechanics on the mound. He has the potential to throw quite a bit harder and it is just a matter of time till his velocity goes up. Tim showed a tight slider and a somewhat rolling curveball. At the plate Tim shows good pull contact and could develop into a solid power hitter when he fills out. At first base Tim fields the ball cleanly and showed off a solid arm. Tim has a lot of potential on the mound and will just need to clean up a few things mechanically. He should be a mid to high-level Division I recruit.

Tim Kiley is a 2007 1B/OF/P with a 6'7'', 200 lb. frame from Palm Harbor FL, who attends Palm Harbor University HS. He has a tall, slender build but has very coordinated actions for his size in all areas. Kiley runs well for a 6-7 player at 7.10. He threw a strong 86 mph from the outfield and had advanced fielding fundamentals and very good accuracy on his throws. He also played some first base and displayed the same type of strong fundamentals and easy actions. Offensively, Kiley hits from a straight up stance with a pre-load approach that gives him little rhythm into the ball. He generates some bat speed from a rotational swing that leaes him pulling off the ball at times. The fundamentals he showed defensively and in his pitching were not as much in evidence in Kiley's hitting approach. Kiley also showed prospect level ability on the mound. He has an easy arm action and sound mechanics. His fastball was up to 83 mph and had some late running action. Kiley used his fastball early to hitters to aggressively get ahead in the count. His best pitch was a 74 mph curveball that had late, sharp breaking action and froze many hitters. Kiley knows how to pitch a bit and with a little more velocity could become a top level pitching prospect. Overall, this is a very good athlete who could eventually excel in any number of areas on the field. Kiley is also a very good student.
