Chad Boron is a 2006 left handed hitting middle infielder from Hixson, Tennessee, with good offensive potential. He’s 5'11", 155 lbs. currently, but has broad features and looks like he can add plenty of size and strength in the future. Boron hits out of a spread stance with very good balance and a smooth, slashing swing that has some extension out front. He could develop some extra base power in the future. Defensively, Boron profiles out best at second base. He has very strong fundamentals fielding the ball, which leaves his hands soft and sure. An area for Boron to work on is his arm strength, which keeps him from playing on the left side of the infield presently.
