Hector Sanchez is a 2008 OF/3B from American Heritage High School in Hialeah, FL, with a 6'0'', 225 lb. frame. Sanchez is a young player who has a thick build with present strength. At the plate he hits from the right side with a wide base and good balanced throughout his swing. Sanchez leans back in his swing trying to get leverage at the point of contact causing him to have a slight lift in his swing. Occasionally shows raw power to the pull side with a short and compact swing. When he can get his arm extended, he shows more power. Defensively he plays the corner infield and outfield positions and has solid arm strength across the diamond with good arm action.
