Robert Willis is a 2007 C/RHP/2B that attends Trinity Catholic HS and resides in Lecanto, FL with a 6'0", 182 lb. frame. Robert has a well-developed athletic build. At the plate Robert has an aggressive approach and is a solid contact hitter. Robert needs to work on his balance and load, so he can produce more power in his swing. Behind the plate Robert has solid footwork and commands the game fairly well. He catches with two hands at times and needs to be careful during games. Robert throws from a high 3/4 arm slot on the mound and makes hitters put the ball in play. He showed a fairly tight slider but rarely threw the pitch. Robert is a solid student that could attract attention from some smaller colleges.

Robert Willis is a 2007 C/P/2B with a 6'0'', 167 lb. frame from Lecanto FL, who attends Trinity Catholic HS. He has a slender middle infielder's body with some strength projection. Willis ran the 60 in 8.25 and threw 71 mph during catching drills with a best pop time of 2.09. He showed consistent arm strength but tends to fall off hard on his throws which affects his accuracy. He moved well behind the plate and was a hustling, willing blocker of pitches. Willis has a good set up at the plate with nice loading action and an easy line drive swing when he stays back on the ball. He makes consistent solid contact and more physical strength will help him drive the ball more consistently. Overall, Willis looks like a hustling scrappy player who knows how to play and is going to get the most out of his ability. He is also a good student.

Robert Willis is a 2007 C/P/2B with a 6'0'', 167 lb. frame from Lecanto FL, who attends Trinity Catholic HS. He has a lean build on a medium frame and has plenty of room to add strength. Willis hits from a balanced open approach and has very busy hands in his set up, which can create timing problems. He has good quickness in his hands and is looking for the inside pitch to pull it. He tends to reach for the pitches on the outside half. Willis showed good skills blocking pitches and receiving the ball. His arm strength and release speed both need work at this point. Willis pitched a bit and showed much better arm strength of the mound, so the talent is there to improve. Willis was 77-78 off the mound with a loose arm and a low effort delivery and looks like he could throw harder with some adjusments. Willis is also a good student.

Robert Willis is a 2007 C/P/2B from Trinity Catholic High School in Lecanto, FL, with a 6'0'', 158 lb. frame. Behind the plate he shows an accurate arm to second base at 69 mph. Willis has soft hands and receives the ball well with minimal drop balls. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who hits with a no stride approach. Willis has a line drive swing plane and looks to hit the ball on the ground and make consistent contact. There is some strength in his swing, and will be a gap to gap hitter in the future. On the mound he throws from a 3/4 arm slot with an effortless delivery. Even though he is a primary catcher, he throws like a pitcher with easy arm action and his arm works well. Willis uses a full windup and his fastball topped out at 78 mph and mixed in a 68 mph curveball. He keeps the ball around the plate and has upside on the mound. He is also a good student.
