Kreg Klaver is a 2007 C/1B with a 5'11'', 180 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV, who attends Liberty HS. Klaver has a medium frame with present strength throughout. Defensively he is a good receiver with soft hands, and he does a good job blocking balls in the dirt to both sides. Klaver threw 66 mph down to second base on his throws during the workout. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who hits from straight away stance. He has a good trigger and takes an aggressive swing. Klaver keeps his head down and is short to the ball with good bat speed. There is strength in his swing with projectable power, especially to the pull side. He projects as a middle of the order hitter. He is also a good student.
