Adam Brown is a 2009 LHP/OF with a 5'10'', 150 lb. frame from Melville NY, who attends Half Hollow Hills. Brown has a smaller frame with a slender wirey build. Brown pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with a medium length arm action. He uses tall and fall style mechanics and pitches on a good downward plane. He has a 2-piece delivery and keeps his frontside closed well. His fastball gets armside run on it especially when it was down. Brown throws a 12/6 curveball with depth. At the plate, Brown starts with an average width stance and uses a long load to start his swing. He has a contact hitter's approach and has a short compact swing. Brown keeps his swing smooth and keeps the barrel in the hitting zone. Defensively, Brown moves to the ball well in the outfield and throws with a long clean arm action. He has arm strength with carry on his throws. Brown is a good student.
