Casazza is a 6-2 junior infielder from California with a pro style body and very good well distributed strength. He has good mobility for his size, running the 60 in 7.07 and showing some range and actions in the field. Casazza has a cannon for an arm defensively. He threw 88 mph in infield drills and repeatedly showed off his arm in game situations. Casazza could end up at either shortstop or third in the future but his arm strength will remain a key factor. Offensively, Casazza has a calm, balanced approach and shows good power potential. His swing is still a bit on the long side but he has strength in it and showed he could turn on the ball with authority. He should continue to improve as he gets older and gets more repetitions. Casazza is a very good student.

Chris is a 2006 grad from Temecula, California, and has a very strong durable athletic body that has room to add more strength and enhance his presant ability. He's a solid defender with sure soft hands and the balance to move side to side. Chris has a solid accurate arm across the diamond with balance on the slow roller. His swing is short to ball with bat speed and he maintains good balance thru out his swing. We like the way his batting practice swing is the same as his game swing and he stays within himself and shows good pitch regonition. Chris's bat has a chacne to be a impact type bat,, with impressive power potential and ability to step into a college program and help right away. It's easy to see Chris developing into a good professional draft at some point as well. Chris is also a very, very good student.
