Chris is a 2005 grad from St. Francis High School in the south Bay Area. He stands 6'0" 170 pounds and is wiry strong right now with the chance to get even stronger in the future. Chris has solid defensive skills with a wristy release and pop times around 2.00. His very good arm strength (78 mph) indicates that he could really lower his pop times in the future. We have seen Chris in the past and he has shown consistency in all parts of his game. He has present good defensive skills to go with good raw power. He has the ability to hit in the middle of the line up at a DI level. He never gives up on balls in the dirt with pitchers who are struggling a bit with their command. Chris's leadership skills will definitely be noted by college coaches as well as his physical tools and he could mature into a potential good draft in the future.

Chris Coleman is a 2005 catcher/right handed pitcher from Los Altos, California. He has a good frame and lean build with the ability to add more muscle in the future. Coleman has quick and lively actions with good pop times (2.00) that are online with good 79 mph arm strength. He got on the mound and showed some good pitching ability to go along with his arm strength. His mid 80s velocity may have been lower than usual due to a long day, and many throws prior to pitching. Coleman is a good looking prospect behind the plate with a very bright future. He has the arm and actions to stop an opposing running game, and he should put up some numbers on offense as well. He swings the bat very hard, but under control. He swings from a slightly open stance with his hands held high and a wide base. He has a chance to be a two way player at a high level college.
