Jacob Williams is a 2009 1B/OF with a 6'1'', 190 lb. frame from Scottsdale, AZ who attends Brophy College Prep. Jacob has a strong athletic frame and was good defensively at first base in the games. He is a switch hitter with good pop. He showed a line drive stroke and the ball comes off his bat very well. He squares the ball up and has good rythym in his swing. His hands work in his swing and he has good balance. He projects large and it will be interesting to follow him over the next year. Good bloodlines. He is also a good student.

Jake Williams is a 2009 1B/P with a 6'0'', 180 lb. frame from Scottsdale, AZ who attends Brophy College Prep. He has a strong and lean body type that still has room to fill out. Williams had the look of a player on the verge of breaking out into a high caliber prospect. He flashed above average ability with bat, with really good hands, a flat swing, and line drive power. He is an aggressive hitter whose power will come in due time. His approach in BP was mostly to the pull side but in the games he employed a nice opposite field approach. His bat could be very advanced by the time he leaves high school. Defensively Williams shows all the feel and actions, with the soft hands and good feet that clearly indicate he is an outstanding defensive player. On the mound he also showed promise, with a sneaky 80-82 mph fastball with down angle. He has the ability to induce ground balls and competed to contact. Williams is the son of former MLB star Matt Williams. He is a strong D1 prospect and in time will also gain attention from pro ball.

Kevin Whitehead is a 2008 C/1B with a 6'3'', 205 lb. frame from Tacoma WA, who attends Franklin Pierce HS. Kevin has a tall athletic build that projects well. At the plate Kevin has a quiet balanced approach with good leverage and extension in his swing. He keeps his hands inside the ball well and the ball jumps off his bat. At times he is a little stiff at the plate but he has the tools to be a solid hitter. At first base you can tell Kevin has been coached well where he has a very good set-up with soft hands and a nice feel for the game. On the mound Kevin has a short loose arm action with good arm speed. He has smooth mechanics with a good downhill plane but you could tell a back injury was bothering him. Kevin is a good looking prospect that should attract the attention of many mid to high-level college programs.
