Danny Canela is a 2009 RHP/IF with a 5'11'', 200 lb. frame from Pembroke Pines, FL who attends Ferguson HS. Thick strong build. Balanced hitter, open approach, very good bat speed, pull/lift approach. Skills at both C/3B, very good arm strength, soft hands receiving, accurate arm, needs to quicken actions. FB 80-85 on the mound, good tight breaking ball, good command. Hustling high energy player. He was named to the top prospect team at this event.
