Ian Krol is a 2009 LHP/OF with a 6'1'', 170 lb. frame from Naperville, IL who attends Neuqua Valley HS. Krol flat out knows how to pitch. The southpaw from Illinois carved up hitters with a three pitch mix including a 90mph fastball. He has a very good curveball that he commands very well and it has a sharp bite. His change is also very good with sink and he has excellent feel for it. He has plus pitchability and is very polished on the mound. Fun to watch pitch and knows how. He's a talented finesse type lefty with a 90+ arm. One of the best in the country. Very interesting 2009 to follow closely. Aflac All American
