Kevin James is a 2009 LHP with a 6'4'', 190 lb. frame from Whitefish Bay, WI who attends Whitefish Bay. James was outstanding at the Pre-Draft Showcase. His fastball sat 90-92 with a loose arm action. He has a very projectable build and who knows how high his ceiling is. He picked up 5 mph from when we saw him in the fall. He also showed a sharp curveball with good spin and completed his three pitch mix with a nice change that showed very good potential. He put on a show for the large contingent of scouting personnel in attendance. He has signed with Boston College but is creating a lot of high draft buzz as he should be.
