Mike Riemer is a 2008 OF/P from Berkshire School, residing in Ellington, Connecticut, with a 6'3"/185 pound frame. Mike has a strong and athletic frame. He hits from a straight stance with solid bat speed. Riemer has strength and lift in his swing with solid hands. He gets good extension at the plate and centers the ball well. Mike has an overhand release from the outfield with a strong arm at 90 mph. He has a solid release with good carry and moves to the ball well. Riemer pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with long arm action and solid arm speed. He uses some effort in his delivery and needs to clean up his mechanics. His fastball has slight arm side run at 87 mph. Mike has a solid 11-5 curveball at 67 mph and a 73 mph changeup. Riemer is a good student.
