Matthew Reynolds is a 2009 MIF with a 6'0'', 180 lb. frame from Tulsa, OK who attends Bishop Kelley. Matthew has a medium athletic frame with strength and room for continued development. He hits from an upright stance and is quiet in the box. He flashes bat speed, and has a solid patient approach at the plate. He uses a short short stride and creates solid contact with some lift at times. His swing is loose and easy and he has a solid line drive swing path. He also shows gap pop with more to come. Defensively his feet work well and he has great body control. He gets to the ball quickly and has a good first step with range to both sides. His arm also works nice and easy with good arm strength. He has usable speed on the bases and he likes to run. Matthew is also a good student.
