James Dinizo is a 2008 C/1B from Fanwood HS in Scotch Plains, NJ with a 6'1", 188 lb. frame. James has a strong athletic build and was very impressive at the plate during the showcase. At the plate James showed very solid swing fundamentals with a good load and present strength in his swing. He shows nice extension with easy lift and drove the ball hard consistently at the showcase. Behind the plate, James has a accurate arm with consistent mechanics. He could shorten up his release to make his pop times get even lower. James showed he is a solid Division I recruit with they way he swung the bat at the showcase.
