Christian can pitch. He is not overpowering but has good movement on his fastball which was low 80's along with a good back door breaking ball. His change shows good sinking action and he can throw all pitches for strikes. With just a little added velocity he could be major college prospect. Tough pitcher to hit. Good 04 college pitching prospect.

We liked Barnes swing the best. Beautiful swing with the bat flying through the zone in a hurry. The ball jumps off his wood bat and he runs fairly well too. For some reason he was listed as only a LHP. He can hit!

04 pitcher who keeps the ball down with movement. He can swing the bat, but we like his future more on the mound. With a bit more velocity he could be a good college pitcher.

Christian Barnes is a left-handed pitcher. He throws from a nice 3/4 arm slot and threw his fastball 75-79 miles per hour and topped out at 80 miles per hour. He can pitch!
