Escobedo is a Left-hander who is on track to develop into a good Collegiate pitcher. He showed good mound presence and a rhythm to his outing on the hill. His fastball topped out at 74 mph and his curve at 65. He has an efficient delivery and showed no fear using his curveball in fastball counts. If he gains velocity on his fastball and develops all his pitches to look similar out of his hand he will end up winning a lot of games. He showed a good eye at the plate and runs the bases a bit better than his 7.46 time in the 60 indicates but we think his best suited position is on the mound. He is also a good student.
