Dan Paolini is a 2008 RHP/OF from Bunnell HS, residing in Stratford, Connecticut, with a solid and strong 6'0"/165 pound frame. Dan was named to the Top Prospect Team. He pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with loose arm action. He has a balanced and online delivery with solid arm speed. Paolini has a good fastball at 84 mph and a solid 11-5 curveball at 71 mph that he throws in any count. He hits from a straight stance and is an aggressive hitter. He has lift and leverage in his swing and good raw power. Dan has a strong arm from the outfield at 85 mph and an accurate arm. He gets behind the ball well and has good actions defensively. Dan is a good student.
