Chuck Eller -- Eller is a 5-10 junior outfielder from Virginia with a solid and well proportioned athletic build. He’s got some good raw physical tools to build on, too. Eller ran well on the wet turf in the 60 and was right on solid big league average time down to first base from the left side. He also showed very good arm strength from the outfield, throwing 84 mph. At the plate, Eller showed a very patient approach in games and a quick line drive stroke. He uses his hands very well to use all fields and will show a little bit of loft in his swing. Eller also threw 2 innings, showing a lively 80 mph fastball and good 64 mph curveball. Given his outfield arm strength and overall athleticism, Eller probably throws harder than that under different conditions. Chuck is a good student.

05 lefty who can pitch. The velocity is a bit short but should improve a lot over the next 3 years. More of a contact type hitter right now with wood. If he grows a bit he could get very interesting.
