2006 Atlantic Coast Underclass Showcase
Clark Pinder is a 2009 2B/SS/CF from Poquoson HS in Poquoson, VA with a 5'7", 130 lb. frame. Clark has a small build and looks like he is just waiting to hit a growth spurt. He has a very good feel for the game and it is only a matter of time till he gets bigger. At the plate he has suprising bat speed for his size and the ball jumps off his bat some. He uses his body very well at the plate and really gets through the ball. He made consistent hard contact and will only get better with time. In the field Clark is a polished fielder with smooth actions. Right now he looks like a second baseman but as he gets stronger he could project at a number of different positions. He showed the type of speed needed to play several different positions. (7.28) Clark is a young player that will attract many colleges attention in a few years.
