Collin Chrisman is a 2007 RHP/1B from Enterprise in Knoxville, TN, with a 6'7'', 185 lb. frame. He is a tall and lean pitcher with room to grow. On the mound he throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with a loose and easy arm action. Chrisman rotates his body during his delivery making his release deceptive to the hitter. His heavy fastball topped out at 78 mph with good downward plane to the plate. Chrisman cuts off his front side at times and doesn't get great extension out front. He also mixes in a 64 mph curveball with depth and bite, and throws a 69 mph changeup. Chrisman has projectable velocity and has very good upside. Offensively he hits from an open stance with a high hand set. He takes a long stride and shows solid bat speed with a line drive swing plane. Chrisman is a player that needs to be followed over the next year, he may make big strides. He is also an outstanding student.

Chrisman is a tall and very lean 6-7, 180 lb junior pitcher from Tennessee. It doesn’t look like he’s added much mass in the past year since we saw him last. Chrisman throws from a Tall and Fall type delivery with little leg drive to the plate. His arm works smoothly but lacks ideal arm speed and extension at present until he can add more strength. Chrisman’s fastball was mostly 72-75 mph during 3 innings of work and topped out at 78 mph and he worked the outside half with this pitch. His best pitch was often a downer curveball at 58-61 that has good spin and he also threw a 65 mph change up. Chrisman comes from an athletic family and should be able to fill out and get stronger at some point in his development and add to his velocity. Chrisman is also kind of interesting as a hitter. He has very good swing fundamentals and showed the ability to use his hands and make adjustments against live pitching. With his size and leverage Chrisman can hit the ball along way when he gets his pitch and he’s just going to get stronger.

Collin Chrisman is a 2007 right handed pitcher from Enterprise HS in Knoxville, TN, with a projectable 6'7", 180 lb. frame. He is a good athlete for his size with good coordination and athletic actions. On the mound he throws from a 3/4 arm slot with sound delivery mechanics. Chrisman gets a good downward plane to the plate on his pitches, and finishes out front well. His fastball topped out at 80 mph with good arm side movement. He also mixed in a big breaking 11 to 5 curveball at 65 mph, and showed a feel for his change up at 69 mph. Chrisman has good control of his pitches, and has good tempo on the mound. He projects to throw harder in the near future, and he has very good upside on the mound. Offensively he is a right handed hitter with good balance throughout his swing. Chrisman has quick hands and drives the ball with some authority. He has an athletic swing, especially for his size, and he should be a middle of the order hitter who can drive in some runs. Chrisman is a must follow, and is a very good student as well.

Collin Chrisman is a 2007 pitcher with a very projectable 6'4", 160 lb. frame from Knoxville, TN. He throws from a high ¾’s to overhand arm slot with good extension on his fastball and good leverage to the plate. Chrisman’s fastball was 77-79 mph and he should add a lot of velocity as he adds strength to his tall frame. Look for at least 10 mph increase over the next couple years. Chrisman threw a high percentage of curveballs and flashed some ability to get good spin on the pitch at 59-61 mph. He changes his arm stroke on the pitch, shortening up considerably and he’ll have to work on becoming consistent in his mechanics between the two pitches. Overall, Chrisman is a big time good follow who is still a bit raw, but shows good athletic ability and pitching tools for his age. He projects off the charts with his best days ahead of him. Collin is a good student.
