Rayburn is a big 6 foot 4 left-hander with a strong 190 pound frame. He also plays first base and can swing the lumber from the left side. On the hill he came from a three quarter arm slot and showed a low 80's fastball that was very lively. The curve bit real well and was clocked at 67-69 mph. He also showed a good change-up and those 3 pitches were thrown for strikes, possibly 90% strikes. Rayburn can pitch and worked real hard. He also showed a good bat. He hit some real hard gap shots in the games. He showed a great attitude on the field and is the type of player that will play 100% until the game is over. He has some power and good 2-way ability and needs to be watched close for the draft. We have reports of him throwing much harder than he showed in Waco. He can play and he can pitch! Corbin is a very good student.

Good prospect as both a pitcher and a hitter. Big strong guy who can mash. Good athlete, he threw in the mid 80 range. Kind of a finesse type pitcher. We really like his hitting potential the most, but if he increases the velocity on his fastball over the next couple years, watch out!
