Andrew Chin is a 2011 LHP with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Newton, MA who attends Buckingham, Browne & Nichols HS. Medium athletic build, fairly mature. Full windup with long windmill arm action, loose arm, easy out front, 3/4's release point, definitely has some deception. FB in the upper 80's, touch 90 mph, spots fastball well down in zone. Curveball lacks velocity but consistent in shape/location. Rare change up has quality, should throw more. Works off spotting FB/getting ahead in counts.
