Marko is an athletic built 3Bman that showed both hitting and pitching ability at the indoor showcase. His bat was the most impressive part of his game that we saw, in part due to a reoccurring arm injury that limited his pitch count on the mound. He showed a very good looking left-handed swing with good bat-speed, an aggressive approach and balance at the plate. He showed that he can put the bat on the ball where it is pitched and didn't miss many that he swung at. When he connected the ball jumped off his bat and we think he could show some power numbers with aluminum. He has a strong frame and showed good pitching mechanics on the mound with 80 mph velocity on his fastball and a 67-70 mph curve that showed a good bite. It was his first month back into pitching and his first time facing live batters this winter. He shut it down early when his previous arm injury flaired up. If he can get himself healthy, he's going to be a very good prospect.
