Daniel DeSimone is a 2007 RHP with a 6'0'', 195 lb. frame from Miami, FL, who attends Gulliver Prep. Daniel has a strong athletic build and will lead the pitching staff for one of the top teams in the country. He throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a short compact arm action. Daniel has a very good feel for pitching as he works quick and shows a very tight slider, as well as good change with late lift. Daniel mixes his pitches well and is as polished of a high school pitcher that you will find. He should have a huge senior year while attracting attention from many highest-level college programs. Daniel will be able to contribute immediatly for a college program.

Daniel DeSimone is a 2007 right handed pitcher/first baseman from Miami with a strong and solid 5'11" body for his age. He pitched three innings in Fort Myers, pitching at 77-78 mph with his fastball, along with a 68 mph curveball with sweeping break. DeSimone throws from a high ¾’s release point with somewhat of a rigid arm stroke and falls off on release. Although he listed himself as a primary pitcher, we actually liked DeSimone even better as a hitter. He generates very good bat speed for his age with a pull oriented, aggressive swing and the ball jumps off his bat well. DeSimone could develop very good power in the future.
