Goodman is a left handed hitter who shows good potential with the bat. He hits from a balanced stance with a flat, line drive swing plane and a quick aggressive swing. Goodman made solid pull contact and the ball jumps off his bat hard. His approach and quick swing should ensure that he continues to hit as the game speeds up. Goodman has good range in the outfield and is a 7.31 runner. He'll need to improve his arm strength but has plenty of time to do that. Goodman is also a very good student.

Max Goodman is a 2010 OF with a 5'7'', 135 lb. frame from Boca Raton, Florida, who attends Spanish River High School. Goodman is a very young (2010) player with a lean and athletic frame. He ran well for his age in the sixty, and showed quickness on the bases and in the field. Defensively he has a quick release from the outfield with a throwing velocity of 73 mph. He moves well defensively with fluid movements and shows solid range. At the plate he is a left handed hitter who hits from a straight away stance with a wide base. Goodman has a flat swing plane through the hitting zone which keeps his bat in the zone for a long time. He is a contact hitter who has the ability to hit the ball to all fields. Goodman shows bat speed at times. He is a very young player who will improve with maturity and strength games. Watch for development. He is a good student as well.
