Bryan Conway is a 2008 C/3B/OF with a 6'2'', 220 lb. frame from Hudson, OH who attends Saint Ignatius HS. He has an extra strong build with strong hands. Conway is a versatile athlete who also played third base and the corner outfield positions. His best defensive tool is his arm strength, he has good carry and accuracy from all positions. Conway will need more polishing and experience in his catching and receiving technique but is a good enough athlete to keep improving. At the plate, Conway has a very busy approach, with a big hand hitch to start his swing and a change in eye level during his swing. Conway has a long and powerful swing that can be dangerous on contact but seemed to lack a plan or approach at the plate. There is no mistaking his strength or athletic ability in any area but Conway is raw skilled at the moment. He is also an excellent student off the field.

Long load/swing but nice bat speed, RCF pop. Monster power with metal, will need wood adjustments. Very nice overall quickness for size/strength. Quality catching prospect. Outstanding student.

Bryan Conway is a 2008 C/3B with a 6'2", 220 lb frame from Hudson, OH who attends St Ignatius HS. Named to Top Prospect Team. Bryan has a thick build with good present strength. At the plate Bryan has a good looking swing, staying inside the ball well with good power projection. The ball jumps off his bat well and he has a good idea of how to center a pitch up. Bryan has all the tools to be a highest-level hitter. Behind the plate Bryan has a quick release with above average arm strength. His arm action gets a little long at times and he could improve his pop times even more if he shortened up some. Bryan is a very strong student that should be a highest-level college prospect.
