He is a young player (2009) with a medium build and present strength in his body. On the mound he throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a short arm circle on the back side. Frisina has an online delivery and stays balanced throughout. He gets sinking action on his fastball that topped out at 76 mph. He has projectable velocity. Defensively he plays hard behind the plate. Offensively he is a right handed hitter who hits from an upright stance. He is a balanced hitter, and he stays short and compact to the ball. He is an aggressive hitter with a line drive swing. Frisina has bat speed through the hitting zone, and he has raw pop. His bat could play large. He also hustles and competes!
