Max Lane is a 2022 SS/2B, OF with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Corona Del Mar, CA who attends Corona Del Mar. Large, athletic, and strong frame showing space to finish growing and athleticism to be a standout at the next level. A two-sport athlete who shows raw current tools that could easily tighten as he put continued focus specifically on baseball. 6.85 60-yd. In the outfield attacked the baseball using his frame easily to move through the ball and produce strong and accurate throws showing a plus arm. In-game was able to easily track. The upside is available. In the infield showed arm strength and was on time utilizing his quick feet and quick release well. Could fit in at 3rd base. Offensively he works from an even base with a high back elbow and the ability to hold the ground well during the swing. A compact, quick bat path allows him to drive the pull gap. During games, stayed on pitches well and with the strength in the barrel able to drive balls all around the field. One of the top players at the event with upside available.
