Matt Parish is a 2008 RHP with a 6'4'', 215 lb. frame from Morristown, NJ who attends Morristown HS. He has a great pitcher's frame with a lean build and some present strength. High 3/4 release with a long arm action. FB was straight with some downhill plane. Capable of commanding his offspeed pitches. Likes his CH and threw it for strikes. His SL was flat but his CB showed good 2-plane break and nice spin. Committed to UNC-Greensboro.

Matt Parish is a 2008 RHP from Morristown HS, residing in Morristown, New Jersey, with a 6'5"/200 pound frame. Matt has a tall and solid frame. He pitches from a high 3/4 arm slit with circle arm action and a loose arm. Parish has solid arm speed and solid mechanics with effort in his delivery. He has a heavy fastball at 86 mph and he keeps it around the zone. Matt has a solid slider at 70 mph with late 10-4 break and mixes pitches well. He is a good student.

Matt Parish is a 2008 RHP with a 6'5'', 200 lb. frame from Morristown, NJ who attends Morristown HS. He has a good frame with broad shoulders and good strength potential, although he doesn't look 6-5. Parish throws from a low effort delivery with a long arm action front and back. He tends to pull his head off the plate at release but keeps his body on line to the plate. Parish had strong present sinker/slider stuff. His fastball was up to 90 mph and had bat breaking late boring and sinking life that is going to tie up right handed hitters inside. His upper 70's slider had hard 2-plane break in the opposite direction with nice depth to it. Down in the strike zone both are very hard pitches to do much with. Parish's change up still needs work, he decellerates his arm and it's a bout 8-10 mph too soft. Parish's sinker/slider combination can get him to a high level and he still has growth/strength potential. He is a very good student.
