Brett Bozeman is a 2008 C/1B/P with a 6'1'', 170 lb. frame from Gainesville FL, who attends Buchholz HS. He has a long limbed athletic body with some present strength and the potential for more. Bozeman was named to the showcase Top Prospect Team. He threw 78 mph during catching drills with a best pop time of 1.92 from a very high release point. Bozeman's arm strngth was impressive and he had athletic actions and quick feet. Offensively, Bozeman is a left handed hitter, always a plus with a catcher. He hits from an open stance with a left lift trigger and a smooth, low effort swing. He has solid bat speed and the ball jumps well on contact. Bozeman showed the ability to make solid contact consistently and even lift the ball well on occasion. He projects very well with the bat and could be something special if he gets strong. Follow him very closely!
