Michael Sawyer is a 2015 LHP with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Villa Rica, GA who attends Carrollton HS. Medium athletic build, has some present strength. Mid to low 3/4's arm slot, loose easy arm action, low effort release, sound repeatable delivery mechanics. Fastball topped out at 79 mph, good arm side and sinking action, spots fastball well. Curveball is his best pitch, sharp bite and deep sweeping action, has feel for locating curveball and can pitch backwards. Developing change up. Right handed hitter, low hand set, rotational swing, spray line drive contact, patient game hitter. Good student.
