Gaige Howard is a 2016 2B/ with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Carlsbad, CA who attends Santa Fe Christian Schools. Howard has a medium sized frame with a lean build. Defensively he has developing actions on the infield with developing footwork. Howard has arm strength up to 73 MPH with good accuracy. He has a slower release with clean transfers. At the plate, Howard starts with a slightly open stance with a high hand set. He swings from a slight crouch and is short to the baseball. He keeps his hands inside the ball and cuts off his swing out front. Howard has devleoping bat speed and made contact to left center field in BP. Outstanding student.
