Jake Sadowitz is a 2016 LHP/1B with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Manalapan, NJ who attends Manalapan HS. Medium athletic build with good strength for his age, especially in the lower half. Well paced delivery, 3/4's arm slot, lands closed with some cross fire angle to the plate, repeats his mechanics well. Low 80's fastball, topped out at 83 mph, good cutting action at times. Sharp breaking true slider topped out at 74 mph, needs a change up but has two present quality pitches at a young age. Potential two-way prospect, left handed hitter with a nice balanced stance, good use of lower half, shows bat speed and power potential, squared the ball up well in games and drove it hard to the middle of the field. Showed solid athleticism at first base defensively. Excellent student. Named to the National Underclass Showcase Main Event Top Prospect Team.
