Parker Thode is a 2016 RHP/ with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Ottumwa, IA who attends Grand View College. Projectable slender athletic build. Primary right handed pitcher. Works exclusively from the stretch. Employs a belt high leg lift keeping hips square at gather going to drop and drive actions down the mound. Utilizes a slightly hooked medium arm action in the back getting into an extended three-quarter arm slot at release. Features a four pitch mix including a heavy fastball with tailing run up to 91 miles per hour compelemented by a tight sharp slider at 82 miles per hour, a 12-6 curveball with good depth and break thrown for consistent strikes at 72 miles per hour and a sinking change up at 77 miles per hour. Showcased the ability to throw all for pitches for a strike in any count keeping batters off balance consistently through his two innings of work. Will be a senior at Grand View College. Named to the 2019 National Pre-Draft Showcase Top Prospect List.
