Anthony Pellicone, Jr is a 2025 C/3B with a 5-11 215 lb. frame from Commack, NY who attends St. Anthony's. Durable, physical frame with present strength throughout his frame. 8.26-second runner during the sixty. Primary catcher, low, side saddle set up. Switches his feet, gaining some ground out of the crouch. Flashed some quickness in his actions with a mid-line transfer. Shorter arm stroke with throws placed pretty accurately on the bag. Recorded a best pop time of 2.23-second, up to 70 mph on his throws to second. Right-handed hitter, sets up with an open, upright stance. Middle-of-the-field approach flashing some line-drive tendencies when on time getting his foot down. Tended to cast his hands away from his body, causing his barrel to drag. Could shorten stroke and simplify hand movements. Strength translated well into round flashing some juice to the gaps. Good student.
