Jonathan Ho is a 2009 MIF/OF with a 5'9'', 170 lb. frame from Honolulu HI, who attends McKinley HS. He has a strong, compact body type and is well proportioned. Ho showed ability that should keep him on college follow lists. His swing has promise, as does his approach. Ho stays inside the baseball well and at times appears to have an inside-out swing that allows his barrel to lag and square up at contact as his hands get through the ball. He showed bat speed that will allow him to move on to the college level as well. As for his approach, Ho peppered the ball the other way in BP and that approach of letting the ball get deep works best with his swing. Defensively Ho showed light feet and good footwork. He threw accurately and has a release that will play at second base. The more reps he takes at one steady position, the better Ho is going to be.
