2006 National Underclass Showcase
Trevor Seidel is a 2009 2B/C that attends Bay City HS and resides in Bay City, TX with a 5'9", 150 lb. frame. Trevor has a lean athletic build with room to fill out. At the plate Trevor shows a solid approach where he starts out closed in the box. He has good balance in his swing and his best contact is to right field. Trevor will need to work on shortening up his swing path and working on a smoothing out the rhythm in his swing some. Right now Trevor is not quite strong enough to be swinging wood, but he has plenty of time to add strength. In the field Trevor will best profile as a second baseman. He shows off a solid release and ok hands at this time. His arm strength is going to really need to pick up some or second base might be his only option. Trevor is a solid student that could attract the attention of a few small colleges.
